Robert Pattinson was hit by a taxi driver while carelessly trying to escape from a group of fans. Stars of the hit film 'Twilight', is located in New York where he is shooting a movie 'Remember me'.

When he was trying to escape from a group of girls, that are his fans Pattinson carelessly run across the road and was hit by a taxi. The driver pushed the brake and the actor, luckily, remained unhurt. People from the production said that Pattinson daily attracts a large number of fans on the the set: “It is a constant crowd, people are trying to see him, and when they do everything goes into total hysteria”.

In order to protect himself at least a bit, Robert hired bodyguard, but when that doesn't work he relies on his running abilities, which almost cost him serious injury. Oh, that glory.
